Producer first. Builder by necessity.

I’ve chased sound my whole life — wrote the rhymes, then made the beats, then built the things that make the beats. Somewhere in there the rapper lost to the producer, and the producer lost to whatever you’d call this.

Always reached for the tool nobody else trusted yet. Played the machine like an instrument when people thought that was strange. Usually too early. Eventually right.

A few names, a lot of music, most of it just for me. Got somewhere once, lost most of it, started over with less and meant it more. Still make something every day — that part never negotiated.

I’ve made things and lost them, and the losses named the work. Rare data is the stuff you can’t get back: ten years gone with a dead drive, a tape someone still won’t return because they know what it’s worth. So I make more of it, and I make it count.

Everything here is one person — the music, the software, the hardware. The tools I always wished I had, for the kind of producer I am.

Said I saw the future once. Wasn’t bluffing. Building it now.
